"C______ and I were talking along the same lines on friday.. We were talking about how everyone today is an "artist" and that Art has kind of lost its meaning.. It used to be all about you .. Your art was about and for you.. And other people appreciated that. Today.. Everyone is an artist and Art isnt for you anymore.. Its all about trying to please other people and get likes and upvotes and people to comment on your "art" It kills me. He said he feels like the people who are now 20 - 30 are in the same generation pretty much and the people younger than 20 are in their own.. And I totally see that. Its weird man. I don't know if I'm just getting more mature or the human collective is getting more and more immature by the generation.. Today Is like you were saying all about NOW. Right NOW. I need this NOW. My mom calls it the now generation.. I hate it. Like we were talking about the other day.. We as humans are moving way to fast. And I guess it makes sense.. Its sort of a reaction to our unnatural state.. I guess Humans are trying to make up for the lost time weve had .. We ARE supposed to live forever. Instead of taking our time and figuring out all the details and looking at them. ( probably my greatest qualm Is that people look at a few puzzle pieces and fill the rest of the picture in.. instead of taking the time to analyze.. ) I don't know just slow down everybody.
