I wandered off the path one day. Great watcher turned, and I ran away.
I lost myself amongst some trees.
Birds and lizards paid no mind to me.
Sat atop the mushroom growths and drank the tea of forrest folk.
I did not mind, I sat alone until a hopping toad approached.
He spoke of things you'd not believe.
He whispered truths that tickled me.
I lost myself in fairy tales though truth be told, these tales were real.
The toad and I we shared a smoke and I lent my ears as for hours he spoke.
He bestowed his knowledge upon me, the women he'd known, the places he'd seen...
In the forrest where I found god, I licked it's back and finally saw
the place where all the good ones go, who births the rain what births the snow.
In the forrest where I found god I licked it's back and finally saw.
Everyone was tripping, the whole world was dancing and I thought
maybe I was tripping for the animals were singing and I thought
"I know this song! I know this song!"
and it's finally making sense now...
I've found a way to transcend the lies of men
and man found a way to destroy everything worth loving.
